03. SELF EMPLOYED, SOUTHLAND LAWN CARE; FRANKLIN, TN — 2015-2017.
As the owner and operator I created marketing strategies, managed payroll taxes, disbursement, developed sales strategies, as well as delivered materials and equipment to my team in the field. I handled sales calls and developed project estimates. Southland Lawn Care had a customer focus in Lawn Care, Hardscapes, and Landscaping for commercial and residential customers.
04. IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST, CIMPLIFY; FRANKLIN, TN — 2010-2015.
CIMplify is a physician owned single-specialty medical practice management company. I started working as a collections analyst, and then worked into the IT field where I spent the remainder of my time. I worked as a member of an implementation team to create software training tools for physicians and support staff. Officially titled as the Director of Special Projects; I created tools for distribution on the web, in video format, and in educational handouts. I traveled to clinics throughout the southeast to work with practices onsite and develop solutions that improve efficiency and patient through-put. While working under the direct supervision of the CIO, I gained a working knowledge of relational database infrastructure, backend management of medical record systems, VMware, Helpdesk tier II support, and staff training/education.
05. CIVILIAN MONITOR, METRO NASHVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT — 2006-2010.
Organized information from active cases into categories using software to transcribe phone conversations relevant to the cases. I was required to actively monitor multiple lines and determine the relevance of the information while the call was active. I reported to the Director of the 20th Judicial Drug Task Force and the District Attorney / Assistant D.A..
06. APPRAISER APPRENTICE, THE CARY GROUP; BRENTWOOD, TN — 2004-2006.
Used knowledge of state and federal real estate guidelines to develop accurate supported and timely appraisals. Determined value and characteristics of individual properties in preparation for analysis by sales comparison method. Worked in the field communicating with clients and organizing data for input into software systems that calculated value.
07. INFANTRY RIFLEMAN, UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS — 1999-2003.
Served 4 years actively training in the Marine Corps Reserve. Received the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Voluntary Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal while serving as an Infantryman in 2nd PLT/India Company/3rd Battalion/24th Marine Regiment/4th Marine Division.
08. ROUTE SALES, DET DISTRIBUTING — 2002-2004.
This position required weekly sales meetings with package distribution sales goals. I worked with a route supervisor to improve the route and increase sales by winning new package placement or display space in convenience stores and groceries.
09. OVER THE ROAD LOGISTICS DRIVER, RE WEST TRANSPORT — 2000-2002.
Operated an eighty-foot 70,000 – 80,000 lb. semi truck and trailer in all of the lower 48 states and two provinces in Canada. I usually spent 30 days out in the truck and came back at the beginning of each month to complete my military training.
